Air traffic controller sentenced by military court
After a long wait, we now have a legal response to the accident. It was a difficult time for everyone involved. We are also thinking of the relatives and friends of the pilot involved in the accident, to whom we would like to express our condolences.
We take note of the verdict and must now analyze in detail what it means for air traffic controllers in Switzerland. We remain committed to promoting safety in air traffic so that such an accident does not happen again.
The convicted colleague has made a significant contribution to improving safety through his cooperation in the professional investigation of the accident. We would like to thank him for this and will continue to support him to the best of our ability.
